The way Light Sport was meant to be.

The Tandem Too is the epitome of fun flying. Based on the lines of a popular late 90's design which didn't survive to see the Light Sport catagory get off the ground. Because of this we opted to design our own, and incorport a few special features such as folding wings.

However, our primary design objective was to develop a kit plane that can be assembled in less than 100 hours. Yup that's right, 100 hours. We've created a wing structure that can be assembled in an evening. The most time consuming part of the whole process will be covering and painting the wings...but we're still working on a solution for that one too. Why? Simply put, the homebuilt/experimental world isn't what is was in the 60's 70's and 80's. There has been a change in culture. Just look at a Popular Mechanics from 1967 and one from 2017. We've decided to create a kitplane which is more suited to todays consumer. A consumer that simply doesn't have 2000 hours and 10 years, but still has the desire to build their own plane.
